A deep conditioner is conditioning product that strengthens and penetrates hair with either moisture or protein. If your hair is feeling dry or brittle and is breaking or splitting along the hair shaft, then you my friend may need to deep condition! With the summertime upon us, our hair tends to get frizzy, dry and brittle due to the extreme heat and sun exposure that our hair endures. Add swimming to that list and you’re certainly doing to need to deep condition more often!
With all of the product options out there right now, it’s hard for a naturalista to choose which ones to try. Are you searching for an effective  deep conditioner for your natural hair? Here’s a great place to start!

Forest Whitaker was frisked at a store in NYC on Friday after an employee accused him of stealing. He was frisked in plain view of everyone. Of course, the pat down produced nothing. The employee then reportedly beg the Academy Award winning actor not to tell store management in fear that the episode would cost him his job. Forest, in turn, asked that the store change their behavior and treat the public in a fair and just manner in the future. See, not even an Academy Award can stop a Black man from being criminalized. Liberated from NewsOne.

Smh

No one is safe. (I am talking about black people here.)

But I thought if Black People only were respectable and didn’t sag their pants, and spoke proper king’s english, racism wouldn’t affect them. You mean fame and money doesn’t stop racism from happening, I for sure thought that if you’re a successful Black person, there’s no way, racism can hinder you I mean you have money, you have fame. What do you mean racism is an systematic institution, that no amount of wealth or respectability politics will curve that? What do you mean that racism isn’t just a mentality, and have real life repercussions? It’s almost as if this incident is saying, that Blackness is hated so much it’s seen as inherently bad and criminal even when the Black person in question is a Academy Award Winner, and is liked by white people.

Welp
